Known to deliver a breathtaking performance, especially in gaming, theAMD Ryzen 7 5800Xis among the most affordable of the AMDRyzen 5000series CPUs. Unfortunately, its price has been flip-flopping the last few weeks, at times cheaper than its list price, at times more expensive.
Still, its appeal lies in its ability to balance performance and price, which still makes it the best option for budget-minded gamers with demanding needs. In the US, it’s cheaper than it’s ever been. BothB&HandAmazonare selling it for $393, for example. Meanwhile, in the UK,Curry’sandOverclockersare selling it for £380 and £382 respectively.
Now’s a good time to invest in the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, especially if you’re in the US. After all, the chip might be in stock now, but you never know when it will go out of stock again.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X dealsat Best BuyBest Buy is selling the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X for $419 and it’s very much in stock. It isn’t the cheapest right now, but the difference isn’t all that big.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X dealsat NeweggNewegg has also restocked the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. While we don’t know how many they have available, it is currently available for purchase, also for $399.
Where to buy AMD Ryzen 7 5800X in the UK
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X also went on sale in the UK on November 5, and sold out quickly. However, a number of websites allow you to either pre-order or request an email alert for when it goes on sale.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X stockat OverclockersOverclockers UK is a great site for buying components, and it has the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X restocked and available for £382. That’s a bit more than the list price.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X stockat Currys PC WorldCurrys is a big retailer in the UK, and has the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X listing for a while with no option to buy. However, it has finally replenished its inventory. The chip now available for purchase for for £380.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X stockat EbuyerEbuyer’s page for the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X now has it listed as in stock and available for purchase for £399. You’ll find it cheaper elsewhere, however. Make sure to check Curry’s and Novatech before you hit buy.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X stockat NovatechNovatech has the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X in stock for £379 – that’s also £10 cheaper than it was a couple of weeks ago. The page says it has more than 10 units in stock, but just how many we don’t know exactly.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X stockat ScanScan is also selling the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X for a bit more than the competition at £379. Stock seems to be holding, but we don’t know just how many it has on hand.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X stockat BoxBox is selling the CPU for £398, finally replenishing its inventory. How many there are, we can’t say, but there should be plenty on hand for now.
